What is a SERVICE POINT?
DHL Express has developed a retail offering available to the public called SERVICE POINT. SERVICE POINT operates from DHL Express locations and third party outlets across the UK enabling members of the public, SME's, Internet traders, students, foreign visitors and others a convenient and easy way to send and receive parcels to and from anywhere in the world.
What is an Agent?
Agents are retailers with good customer interface and smart secure premises.

The role of the agent will be to store DHL Express packaging, process completed parcels, take payment and securely store the parcels for collection by DHL.

An agent will benefit from:
  • DHL Agent commission structure
  • Having DHL Express services in-store - a unique proposition
  • Footfall generation
What does an Agent require?
New agents must be able to satisfy basic requirements, including:

Technical
Agents access our services using a web based tool that produces the documentation required to send and receive parcels. The minimum system requirements are:
  • High speed internet access
  • PC running Windows XP
  • Printer (minimum: 300 DPI inkjet or laser)
  • Spare USB connection for our scanner
  • Internet Explorer 6.0 or above
  • Adobe Reader 7.0 or above
The equipment should be located close to the point of sale.

Storage Facilities
  • Space to store DHL flat-pack packaging
  • Secure area for storage of completed parcels
Car parking and extended opening hours would be advantageous.
