Yes, you need a DHL account number (beginning ‘13’ or ‘18’) to register and use DHL Online Shipping. However, you can bill shipments that you process on DHL Online Shipping to a recipient or third-party DHL account number if authorised to do so.

Web browser. Most web browsers are absolutely fine with DHL Online Shipping. However, in order to get better performance, we recommend you use Internet Explorer v5.0 or higher. Javascript and cookies must be enabled.
Laser printer

You need it for the barcode quality. Barcodes printed by ink jet printers can cause scanning problems that could result in delivery delays due to additional manual processing. Use a laser printer and you’ll avoid this problem.

Yes, you can have multiple (authorised) users registered under one DHL account.

To change any of your registration information, including your password or email address, log in to DHL Online Shipping and choose the 'Update my Details' option. When your profile displays, update your information and click 'Submit'.

Yes, you will get an email confirmation after a successful registration. Please note it may take a few minutes for your registration to be processed. Do not click the Submit button more than once. If registration fails, an error message will display, indicating what the problem is.

Yes, you can set up user preferences that really suit your shipping needs including selection of default package types, pickup preferences, billing accounts, etc.

You should print one waybill for each package in the shipment (the package copy) plus one additional waybill copy for Non-Document shipments. Non-Document shipments require an additional waybill copy to facilitate Customs clearance at the destination.

Try to fix the printer problem and print while the waybill is still displayed. If this doesn't work, click 'Cancel Shipment' at the bottom of the page. If you cannot fix the printer before giving the shipment to DHL, you must manually complete a standard DHL waybill.
