DHL is teeing up to become the Preferred Supplier of Air Express and Road Delivery Services to The 2006 Ryder Cup at The K Club, Straffan, Co. Kildare, Ireland, from September 22-24, 2006.

Ryder Cup Europe LLP has announced that DHL will provide services for the distribution and delivery of equipment, infrastructure, credentials and merchandise required for The Ryder Cup.

DHL is the global market leader in international express, overland transport and air freight, as well as the world's number one in air and ocean freight and contract logistics. The Ryder Cup partnership is DHL’s latest involvement with a prestigious sporting event, following its logistical support to the British Lions rugby tour and Masters Tennis Tournament last year, as well as its continuing role as official carrier to The Football Association and global logistics partnership with F1.
