Clinical Trials Logistics
Our Clinical Trials Logistics offer customers high visibility and assurance that supplies are fully controlled from receipt to final delivery.

As an established investigational medicines distributor we have the clinical distribution capacity to take on any form of clinical trial, however large or small, for distribution anywhere in the world.

A dedicated Clinical Trials Logistics team, drawing on the skills of technically qualified healthcare professionals working closely with logistics and operational experts, manages the specific needs of each customer or study to ensure the highest performance standards.

Our European operation provides capacity for ambient, chilled and frozen temperature ranges, a clean room that enables us to provide assembly and rework services to trial specification and value-added services.

We have been involved in a variety of trials from oncology, analgesics/anti-inflammatory, respiratory, psychiatric, renal, veterinary products, through to CNS, obesity, gastrointestinal thrombosis inhibitors, solid tumours and cardiovascular.
Hospital Logistics
Traditionally, hospital supply chains have relied heavily on nursing staff to order and replenish stocks. The receipt, dispatch and warehousing of goods take up valuable space in the hospital and site congestion is caused by multiple stock deliveries throughout the day. As a result, hospitals are often challenged with supply chain inefficiencies such as product duplication, overstocking, wastage and obsolescence.
With off-site consolidation facilities, we manage the delivery of supplies into hospital wards and departments, providing off-site warehousing, on-site personnel, demand capture and stock management, and delivery sequencing.

Our approach to Hospital Logistics delivers value for customers in terms of:

  • Releasing nursing staff time and hospital space to the core activity of patient care
  • Allowing better control of inventory, expenditure and suppliers
  • Reducing inventory and purchasing costs improved service levels
  • Improved service levels
  • Decongesting the hospital environment
Hospital Transport Services
Patient transport service is an example of a unique targeted solution, moving people rather than products.

Based in the UK, we have worked with the National Health Service (NHS) to transport patients to and from hospitals for non-emergency treatments and appointments. We manage around 800 patient journeys per day.

Training and development is an integral part of this service, ensuring that our people are equipped with the skills, knowledge and attitudes to carry out the work effectively, understanding the specialist equipment used in accordance with NHS guidelines and patient requirements.
An operations centre ensures effective booking, planning, day control and reporting which are measured against defined service level agreement. Through this innovative solution, we have streamlined patient movements reducing transportation and hospital resource costs.
